Ecsite Annual Conference

The Ecsite Annual Conference will take place from 5 to 8 June 2024 at GR Ljubljana Congress and Convention Centre.

Following a successful bid, Kersnikova Institute will host this year’s annual gathering of Ecsite, the European network of science museums and centres. It is one of the most important international meetings for experts in the fields of science communication and popularisation, culture, and projects related to sustainability, research and technology.

Over the course of four days, the conference programme will feature more than 80 thematic discussions, seminars and workshops. For the first time, the programme will also be supported by an extensive exhibition of established artists under the shared title “Creative Collisions.” We are also especially pleased that Ljubljana will welcome visionary figures from the fields of science and art as part of the conference.

The conference is expected to bring together 1,200 delegates from more than 50 European and other countries.
