Where technology, business and community meet

Dscoop Edge Slovenia brought together the global community of HP Industrial Print customers and partners for three days of education, networking and technology. Held under the theme “The Art of Growth,” the conference marked Dscoop’s return to the EMEA region and its first conference of this kind since 2017. More than 40% of participants were attending an Edge event for the first time.

The programme combined more than 40 educational sessions, international keynote speakers, roundtables and networking with a major Solutions Showcase, where participants could experience industrial printing technology in operation rather than simply see it on display.

Venue & format

Three interconnected halls supported three different functions: Kupola for keynotes and the evening event, Kocka for the Solutions Showcase and smaller stages, and Steklena for registration, networking, coffee breaks and breakout activities.

Highlights

HP's showcase occupied 484 m², while GR supplied OCTA stands and branding for almost 30 exhibitors. After the final keynote, the main plenary hall was transformed into the evening party venue within just a few hours.

Sustainability initiatives

Part of the event's electricity demand was supported by energy generated on site by GR Ljubljana's solar power plant. Smart building management, LED lighting and energy-efficient AV equipment further supported efficient operation throughout the event.

Built around demanding technology

Live demonstrations of industrial printing presses made the exhibition technically demanding. GR Ljubljana provided the required power supply, compressed air and high-speed internet, while Kocka was maintained at 22–23°C to ensure optimal printing conditions.

Technical planning began months before the event, allowing the equipment to arrive in a venue already prepared for its specific requirements.

From keynote stage to evening party in hours

The event did not use the halls in just one configuration. Following the final keynote, Kupola changed from the main conference setting into the evening party venue. Seating and grandstands were removed, graphics and flooring adapted, while working areas in Steklena became lounge spaces all within a few hours.

Partnership behind the scenes

What made the project particularly successful was the working relationship behind it. Rather than operating through a traditional client-supplier model, the Dscoop and GR Ljubljana teams worked as one project team: identifying challenges together, finding solutions quickly and keeping the event moving.

Partnership behind the scenes

I was impressed by the level of service, positive attitude, teamwork, collaboration, level of professionalism, and great relationship amongst the GR Ljubljana family. If the occasion arises, I will of course come back.”
