We have benefited enormously from the high level of professionalism of the GR staff. From the first enquiries to project planning and on-site implementation – everything was always quick, solution-oriented, proactive, and provided under fair conditions. On site, we were particularly impressed by the high level of commitment to solving unexpected problems, which always occur at a congress with more than 1,500 participants and 80 exhibitors, to everyone's satisfaction. And on top of all that, GR works together with one of the best catering companies in Slovenia, whose services sent our participants into rapture.

The Kersnikova Institute chose the GR Ljubljana to host the ECSITE conference, an event featuring a wide range of activities, diverse layouts, and complex technical requirements. The venue provided us with immense design flexibility, as the halls offer a truly broad spectrum of possibilities and solutions. A major advantage is also its city-center location, which greatly simplified access, logistics, and the overall execution of such a large-scale international event for both participants and the organizing team.

The international event of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe – the 10th Session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Water Convention, with over 600 participants from more than 100 countries and attended by top-level domestic and foreign dignitaries – is an exceptionally demanding project, organizationally and logistically. With years of experience and a high level of professionalism, the GR Ljubljana team is the right partner for such a challenge. And the halls, a landmark of Slovenia’s architectural heritage, combined with the proximity to the center of Ljubljana and its premier hotels, create an excellent location for such events. The UNI-SI Slovenian Universities Festival is organized by the member universities of the Rectors' Conference of the Republic of Slovenia. Our inaugural event in January 2026 presented a unique organizational challenge: aligning the diverse visions, expectations, and goals of eight different institutions, both within our own committee and in coordination with GR Ljubljana. For the Fantasy and Science Fiction Convention (NMN), we require a vast, dynamic space that allows us to showcase a diverse range of activities, exhibitors, and program highlights. Each year, the team at GR Ljubljana makes this possible through high-quality, well-thought-out technical solutions, rapid and flexible organization, and, crucially, the right guidance at exactly the right time. Their meticulous preparation, in-house solutions, expert advice on subcontracting, and responsiveness in critical moments have enabled us to deliver vibrant, engaging events. Despite the increasing number of attendees every year, our conventions run smoothly, professionally, and without unnecessary stress.

A big thank you also to Miha Gartner and the entire staff of GR Ljubljana and its partners, who made sure that everything ran smoothly at the session venue from a practical and technical perspective. Despite the hectic and sometimes intense moments, it was particularly nice to be greeted with smiles and to be dealing with such a pleasant and professional team.

For a one-day event like 500 Women Entrepreneurs, the venue offers the perfect blend of conference and exhibition space. The modern facilities play a key role, but it is the GR Ljubljana technical team that truly stands out: they are always ready to listen, offer expert advice, and provide swift assistance regarding any technical details. Having such reliable behind-the-scenes support allows us as organizers to focus entirely on the content of the program. Additionally, the venue’s accessibility is a major plus for our attendees, with excellent public transport links and well-organized parking and delivery options.

Freedom is key for film production, and at the GR Ljubljana, we have it in abundance. The Kocka Hall is a playground without limits for us. Inside, we built an entire house, an airplane interior, and various fantasy environments – things that would be nearly impossible in traditional studios. The height and structural design of the spaces allow for the safe suspension of objects and equipment, and even the execution of stunt scenes with extreme precision. And the GR team truly understands that filmmakers need solutions "right now".

What truly set the experience apart was the venue team. Having delivered international conferences and exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East for over 20 years, we can confidently say the Ljubljana team ranks among the very best we have collaborated with. Their communication was excellent, making the entire process feel easy, and their flexibility with planning was invaluable.

ICM is a specialized organizer of high-tech B2B trade fairs in the CEE region. We are the force behind the IFAM INTRONIKA ROBOTICS fair, which has become Slovenia’s premier professional event for industrial automation, robotics, and mechatronics, serving as a vital networking platform for the wider region.
